Malinois Episodic Agression

Researchers at the University of California-Davis have identified a mutation that is associated with episodic aggressive behavior and or seizures in the Malinois breed. This mutation is not an absolute cause of these behaviors but is highly associated based on a study involving 138 Malinois. The study suggested that the same mutation may play a role in overall activity levels in the breed.

Inheritance: Codominant. Each copy of the mutation inherited increases the likelihood of a behavioral event.
